Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson

Today we had a very important visitor in school, Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson.
Tanni was filming a history documentary and one of the people she was filming about was Elizabeth Price who was a teacher in the Infant school in 1890. It was lovely to see her and we can not wait to see the documentary.

Harvest

Today in our school we had our harvest celebrations. All the children brought lots of fruit and vegetables which was taken to the senior citizens in our area by year 6. Pastor Jones and Mark Perry came to tell us all a story about how special we all are.

The Infant department came over to the Junior department and shared some of their harvest songs with us.

Here is one of the Junior department children reading his story about harvest.
